Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and personable Summer Intern to join our State Farm office. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate interested in exploring the insurance industry and gaining valuable experience in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct outbound telemarketing calls
Provide customer service support via phone and in person
Schedule appointments and manage the agent’s calendar
Assist the agent and team with administrative and office tasks

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable speaking on the phone and engaging with customers
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Previous office or customer service experience a plus, but not required

Details:

Full-time position.
Internship runs June through August (dates flexible)
Paid position

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

About Our Agency

We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, College Planning, Health Insurance, and Renters Insurance.
Our office is located in North San Antonio, TX.
Our office is open 8am - 5pm - M - F.
I have been a State Farm agent since 2008.
Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Agent Team Member.
I am a proud graduate of Texas State University.
We currently have 9 team members at our agency.
We have 75 years of combined insurance experience in our office.
Our agency has received awards including: Chairman's Circle, Ambassador Travel, Legion of Honor, Senior Vice President's Club, National Quality Award, Silver Scroll, Golden Triangle, Bronze Tablet, and New Agent Program Qualifier
